Rail safe friendly

We work closely with outside agencies to promote safety around the railway throughout the year. As an academy we recap this information before the main school holidays to ensure it is fresh in the minds of our pupils. Swinton has a train station and railway lines pass near our housing estates, therefore this is an important message to share.

We have recently teamed up with Rail Safe Friendly and have been awarded our Bronze badge, July 2026.

All pupils watched age appropriate presentations about the dangers of railway lines.

Our local Police Officers also reiterate this message on their visits to school.
